I’m a pothead.

It all started approximately 2 years, 3 months, 6 days, 4 hours, 25 minutes and 14 seconds ago. Make that 15 seconds. No wait, 16 seconds. AUGH! – 17 seconds ago…forget the seconds. I just can’t keep up.

I was home alone with nothing to do…and I knew exactly where the pot was stashed. I remember that I was really stressed and needed to relax. I thought, “just this once.” I knew the pot would definately help me unwind. And it did…I *highly* recomend it. (no pun intended. fine, I lied…pun intended.)

Pushing aside the frying pan, I reached into the back of the cupboard and pulled out the pot, filling it with water. Wait a second – you didn’t think I meant…oh, nevermind. After it was brought to a boil, I took my seat at the kitchen table, placing a large towel over my head. I allowed the steam to just cleanse my pores, purify my sinuses, and wash away the stress of the day. As a Licensed Esthetician (confident hair flip), I recognize that steaming the face is a wonderful gift we can give our skin.

The past several years I have allowed myself to regularly benefit from the pot. I have been busted many times by roommates who walk in on me, unexpectedly. They usually think the towel over my head is a lame attempt at hiding from them…I, on the other hand, have no idea they are there and akwardly continue my routine. But I can’t give it up. My name is Jenni…and I am a pothead.
